I've noticed a disturbing trend in reviewing Business Auto policies: Very low Uninsured Motorist Property Damage.
Your Business Auto should have a minimum of $1,000,000 CSL (combined single limit) for Liability, Uninsured, and Underinsured, especially Property Damage.
You get smacked by an uninsured driver, and your out of work for 6 months? Where do you think the lost wages will come from? Do you have a Business Overhead Expense Disability Policy? Do you even know what that is?
Most Pest Control Operators are "in the field" types, out there, with the customers, with the lads doing the spraying, doing the inspections.
YOU are the business. No You, No Business.
Adding this coverage is relatively cheap. Ask for it.

Caffeine is a Pesticide
I'm a new producer at agency that specializes in pest and termite control insurance. A narrow niche, but important. The issues these businesses face, including all the licensing and bonding requirements, force a brokerage to specialize.
Simply too many unknowns to allow a generic brokerage to know about.
As I learn about this industry, so will you. Premises pollution, spray rigs, termite wood repair, and that nature's original purpose for caffeine was to kill bugs.
Thanks for reading.
